V-Tech Silicone Sealant (100% Acetic) is a high-performance, one-component sealant made for general-purpose glazing and sealing. It bonds strongly to glass, ceramic, metal, and plastic, forming a durable, flexible, waterproof seal for both indoor and outdoor use.
Usage Instructions
Clean and dry the joint. Cut the cartridge nozzle to bead size and apply with a caulking gun. Tool the joint smooth before skinning and clean excess with solvent while wet.
Safety Information
Use in a ventilated area. Avoid skin and eye contact — acetic-cure silicones release acetic acid vapor while curing. Refer to the manufacturer’s SDS for complete hazard information.

It releases acetic acid vapour while it cures. Work in a ventilated area; the smell fades as it cures.
Can I paint over silicone?
Silicone sealants are generally not paintable. For a paintable joint use an acrylic sealant such as Super Seal SS-220.
Can I use it on metal or mirror backing?
Acetic-cure silicone can affect some sensitive metals and mirror backing. For those, choose a neutral-cure silicone such as DOWSIL 795.
